Anyone try cursor mouse extensions with Chromecast on PC??

Has anyone tried any of the below with Chrome browser on their Windows PC and Chromecast? I have not yet purchased Chromecast....

1. Do they work in terms of being able to see your mouse on your HDTV, click on your mouse and move it around (I realize there would be lag)?

2. How about a wireless keyboard? I see no ssue except lag but again do not have a Chromecast.

Why do I ask?--tried Miracast with my new PC (Netgear PTV3000 and it did not work well, am waiting on AirTame to come out in October and see if that helps me eliminate the HDMI cable from PC to HDTV).

Thanks
Peter
