Chromecast and YouTube
« on: September 03, 2017, 12:26:55 PM »
Samsung recently dropped support for YouTube on my Smart tv and I'm trying to find an alternative way of streaming YT films to it. I've checked out several reviews but I'm left bewildered - all I need to know is 1. Will Chromecast 2 do this from a laptop? 2. If so, is the streaming quality sharp and consistent? Any advice would be appreciated.

I had Chromecast and it worked fine on my Sony Bravia tv.Tv is not a smart TVs. I now use Telstra TV which is excellent and works via wi fi. You need Telstra Internet though. Telstra TV comes free with Telstra Internet. This weekend my brother in law got NBN connected and was able to stream You Tube via his smart TV and Telstra WI FI.
