Full Screen Mirror
« on: October 12, 2015, 02:39:05 PM »
I would like to use a wifi screen mirroring device in a classroom to allow visiting
presenters to connect to our projector from their laptops. They can be using Windows,
MacOS or Linux. The presentations could be Office, Google Apps, Libreoffice  or something entirely different possibly with multimedia.

I'm aware of the chromecrast full screen extension for the Chrome Browser. However, that has various issues the least of which is it requires the Chrome Browser the visitor may not have installed. It's also marked as "experimental", and there seem to be warnings on performance.

Is there anything better suited to this need with Chromecast, or failing that a better
alternative to Chromecast for this need.
