surround sound
« on: December 08, 2013, 12:05:53 PM »
I set up the chromecast on my lap top and got it working. I have a surround sound system hooked up to my tv. The sound that I am getting is from the movie I am watching from my tv. Do I need to disconnect the surround sound and get only the sound from the tv or is there a way to get the sound coming out of my surround sound.

Does this make sense what I am asking?  :-\

Does make sense.  I have my stereo system hooked up to my big screen and use it for sounds (versus the tv sound), seems to work great.  I watch Netflix, sound is awesome.  Play music using the Avia app to stream to Chromecast, sounds great.  Hope that helps
