Chromecast Help / Re: Is there anyway to play audio and video seperatly?
« Last post by lydiazhu520 on May 16, 2017, 01:02:06 AM »
if you wanna to change some digital files such as MKV, VOB , WMV, MPG, MOV , FLV files, even the BD or DVD files to any other video format withi original audio and video effects, the all-in-one Video Converter Ultimate program will a nice choice for you. It is a yet professional all-in-one Blu-ray Ripper, DVD Ripper and HD Video Converter, which comparatively has better output quality, in particular HD videos and intuitive interface. What's more, its deinterlacing function and merging, cropping, trimming, adding subtitles ability are what its many competitive products lack of. If you are Mac users, please turn to iMedia Converter for Mac.

Is there software around to install into my hudl tablet running android os,
In the UK
   Thanks for any reply

I am not familiar with your hudl tablet but if you have access to the Google Play Store, the Chromecast app is available there. If not you could try to find the apk and installing it.

Chromecast Help / Re: How I solved my "no sound" issue.

reply to # 1 on:
My setup is Samsung 47" HDTV w/ 5.1 surround sound (only using 3.1), Pioneer 1019AH AVR, Samsung Blu Ray & Tivo Bolt.
Tried most of the suggestions to no avail. Wanted to maintain 3.1 stereo without having to go into settings and change speaker setup. Simplest solution was to unplug CC and plug it into the available HDMI on the AVR. Works great!! Requires changing HDMI (source) on both the TV and the AVR. My TV lists one of my TV's HDMI's as "Chromecast" and the AVR says the CC is using it's HDMI 2. I'm guessing all of the devices are now using the only "out" HDMI going to the TV for audio. I'm happy with it, as I only have to switch "sources" on both the TV and the AVR.

I want to hear the sound thru headphones that are plugged into my pc.
I assume the casting is happening over wi-fi and not thru the ethernet cable.

How?

Thanks
I don't think that is possible, because when it casts, it's the Chromecast getting the video and audio streams, your PC is just controlling it. You would somehow have to get the audio back to your PC.

Chromecast And Mac OSX / Help
« Last post by candelaramon on March 24, 2017, 02:52:38 AM »
Good morning everyone,
I'm a Mac rookie, and recently I purchased a Chromecast.
My doubt is that I do not know how to play a video that I have on the hard drive of the iMac, and that it is seen on the television with the Chromecast, because so far all the players I have tried send the image to the Chromecast but not the sound. Any suggestions? THANK YOU

Google's newest and fastest version of their Chromecast streaming dongle, the Chromecast Ultra has dropped in price for the first time since its introduction last year.  Normally $69, you can get one now for $50 through Best Buy at the link below.  The Chromecast Ultra is the first Chromecast to support 4K and is faster and smoother operating than the two previous Chromecast versions.  If you're in the market for a Chromecast to stream (cast) your videos and movies, music or apps to your big screen tv or especially if you want to watch shows shot in 4K video then the Chromecast Ultra is the one to get.  Link Below!
